Congratulations – We’d like to congratulate Jacquelynn Dicks (8-2) who won the first place at Hal-Con for self-made costume. Great job Jacquelynn!

Girls A Volleyball – The team is asked to come to the gym today immediately following the lunch bell for a quick meeting.

Girls B Volleyball - Practices this week is today, Wednesday, and Friday at lunch.

WE Group – There will be a meeting tomorrow at lunch Tuesday in Ms. Dowling’s room (#246). This will be open to new and returning students. Bring your lunch and we’ll start right away.

Girls Soccer – The team is playing this Wednesday on the turf again at 3:30 pm.  The girls will be dismissed early on Wednesday.  There will be a quick meeting tomorrow at lunch in Madame Norris's room (# 110).  Girls please remember to bring the 20 dollars ASAP.

Dance – Out first school dance is on Wednesday, October 30, from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm. It will be a special, Halloween Dance, you can dress up if you’d like, but don’t need to. The tickets are on sale today, tomorrow and on Wednesday during the lunch ad after school ($ 6.00 in advance and $ 10.00 at the door). There will be dance competitions, games and more. Come to join us.

Halloween – Thursday, October 31. You can dress up but remember – no masks! There will be costume contest in the Gym at 12:20. There will be individual prizes as well as a prize for the whole class. So, the more participances, the better chances of your class winning. 

Learning Centre BBQ – Learning Centre will be holding a BBQ next Monday, November 4, at noon. We are having beef/veggie burgers ($ 3.00) and hot dogs ($2.00).  All orders must be pre-ordered and pay through your home room teachers.
