Congratulations – We’d like to congratulate Julia Wilkie, who finished in 12th place at the Provincial Cross Country yesterday in Trenton, N.S. There were over 120 of the best runners from across the Province in Gr. 7 & 8.  Well done Julia!

WE Group – There will be a meeting today at lunch in Ms. Dowling’s room (#246). This will be open to new and returning students. Bring your lunch and we’ll start right away.

Girls Soccer – The team is playing tomorrow on the turf again at 3:30 pm.  The girls will be dismissed early.  Girls please remember to bring the 20 dollars ASAP.

Girls B Volleyball - Practices this week is tomorrow and Friday at lunch.

Dance – Out first school dance is on Wednesday, October 30, from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm. It will be a special, Halloween Dance, you can dress up if you’d like, but don’t need to. The tickets are on sale today and tomorrow during the lunch ad after school ($ 6.00 in advance and $ 10.00 at the door). There will be dance competitions, games and more. Come to join us.

Halloween – Thursday, October 31. You can dress up but remember – no masks! There will be costume contest in the Gym at 12:20. There will be individual prizes as well as a prize for the whole class. So, the more participances, the better chances of your class winning. 

Ultimate Frisbee - Starting this Friday, November 1, there will be Ultimate Frisbee in the gym after school.  All are welcome - new players, experienced players, people looking for some exercise and fun on Friday afternoons.  We will start around 3:15. Learn the basic skills and play some ultimate, starting Friday November 1st.

Learning Centre BBQ – Learning Centre will be holding a BBQ next Monday, November 4, at noon. We are having beef/veggie burgers ($ 3.00) and hot dogs ($2.00).  All orders must be pre-ordered and pay through your home room teachers.
