Today is Trans Day of Visibility, a day where we celebrate the diverse experiences of transgender people in the present and throughout history. Did you know the transgender pride flag, which can be seen displayed in our lobby, was designed by Monica Helms in 1999 in the US. The flag has three colors: blue for men, pink for women, and white for non-binary genders. The flag is symmetrical and can be displayed in any direction, signifying that there is no one right way to be transgender.
