Trans Day of Visibility - is an annual awareness day celebrated around the world. The day is dedicated to celebrating the accomplishments of transgender and gender nonconforming people while also raising awareness of the work that still needs to be done to achieve trans justice.

Girls Basketball- The Halifax Grammar school came to Fairview yesterday to challenge the team to a spelling bee.  The Lions gave Mr. Hallett an early birthday present by spelling a very advanced word – Annihilation - as they beat Grammar 83-22, a point difference so large that not even Mr. Drake could do the math in his head. Great job girls! Assume you play at Halifax Central on Monday at 4 pm. Listen for confirmation Monday morning. 

Badminton - Intermediate team (Grade 9s) will practice today at lunch. Junior team (Grade 7 & 8s) will practice tomorrow during lunch.

Yearbook Committee – There will be a meeting today in the Library during lunch.
