Eid-al-Fitr– Today is Eid – the holiday that is celebrated by Muslims worldwide because it marks the end of the month-long dawn-to-sunset fasting of Ramadan. Eid Mubarak for those who are celebrating!

Teacher Appreciation Week – This week is Teacher Appreciation week. We want to take this opportunity and say thank you to all our teachers for all hard work they are doing, the way they are going above and beyond. We appreciate you!

Badminton - A huge congratulations to Jack Zhou and Makhno Iskra who are the Provincial Badminton Champions in Boys Doubles. On Saturday, they defeated North Nova High, Liverpool High, Ecole Beau Port, Halifax West in the semifinals and CEC in the finals. It is rare that Gr.9s win a Provincial Championship. Well done Jack & Makhno!

Yearbook Committee – There will be a meeting today at lunch in the Library. 

Omnikin Ball – There will be tryouts tomorrow after school from 2:30 till 4:00 pm. Please see Ms. Smith if you have questions.

Track & Field – The team list is up on the Phys Ed Bulletin board. There are still some openings for events but last day to fill them is this Thursday, May 5th. Below is the schedule for practice:
Hurdles & High Jump – today at lunch.
All throwing events – today after school, from 2:30-4:30pm
Long & Triple Jump – tomorrow during lunch-
All runners including hurdlers – tomorrow after school, from 2:30 till 4:30 pm.
We do not cancel because of rain.

String Students – There will be a class for you tomorrow after school. Please bring your instruments and learning materials.

YSpace – There will be meeting tomorrow during lunch time in room # 104.
