• Basketball – The Girls basketball team opened up the 2022 Kingfisher Tournament at Sackville High with a tough 28 to 40 loss to Halifax Central. Melissa Mert earned player of the game honours. In their second game the team bounced back with a big 66 to 22 win over Dartmouth South. Player of the game went to Lola Lazo. The girls are back on the court tonight at 7:30 versus Leslie Thomas.

The Boys basketball team kicked off their tournament schedule with a pair of huge wins last night. The team defeated Elizabeth Sutherland by a score of 77 to 6 in their opening contest. Mensi Eldik the was player of the game. In the second match, Ollie Nadeau earned player of the game, leading the team to a 87-32 win over Sackville Heights. The boys play again tonight at 6:30 versus Halifax Central.

• Spirit Week –Today is PJ Day, probably the easiest of all the themes! Tomorrow will be Jersey Day! Come support your favorite sports team!

• Student Council - There will be a meeting today at 11:15 in room 203 for the entirety of lunch time.

• Holiday Candy Grams - Today, during lunch, the Student Council will be selling candy grams in the lobby. They are available for $1 and include a pre-written message of your choice!

• Craft Club – Reminder students, if you’re interested in making bracelets, come to Ms. Ernest’s room # 207 during lunch time today. 

• Student Tutoring - will be available today at lunch in the library.

• Girls A Volleyball - Your last practice will be tomorrow at lunch. You must bring in your uniforms.

• Student Council Bake Sale - Will take place during the lunch hour tomorrow and Thursday from 11:15 to 12:20 with plenty of goodies and deserts! Prices will go to a max of 3$.
