• Martin Luther King’s Day – Is observed today. The day commemorates the life and work of Dr. King, who was a Baptist minister and prominent leader in the American civil rights movement. People are encouraged to use the day to reflect on the principles of racial equality and nonviolent social change espoused by Dr. King.

• Dungeons and Dragons - Club will meet after school today in Room 205. Don't forget your pencil and eraser!!

• Peer Tutoring - will take place tomorrow at lunch as usual but only during the second half of lunch (at 11:40) in the library. See you there.

• Boys Basketball – There will be a game tomorrow at 4pm.

• Morning Announcements - Any student interested in reading daily announcements please see Mrs. Chisholm in room 110.

• Badminton - The lists are up on the Phys Ed bulletin board outside the Gym for the players returning to tryout #2. If you were absent for tryout #1 then you may attend tryout #2. Tryout schedules are:
-  Grade 7s & 8s Boys – today at lunch;
-  Grade 7s & 8s Girls – Thursday, January 19th, at lunch
-  Grade 9s – Friday, January 20th, at lunch

• Ski Trip –There will be a mandatory meeting for all students and staff who is going on the ski trip on Thursday, January 19th, at the beginning of lunch in the Library.

• HeART Art Program - Is starting up again on Tuesdays, starting next week (January 24th).  Anyone interested in continuing or joining the program, please see Ms. Caines or the office for sign up.
