• Girls Basketball - March madness started early as the girls basketball team opened the playoffs against the number 1 seed St Agnes Gators. The lions put up a great fight and lost a 3-point heartbreaker as the Gators took a chomp out of Fairview's Heart. The lions 3 at the buzzer did not go down and the season is now over. Great job girls. Special shoutout to all of our wonderful grade 9s: Cameron, Melissa, Chanelle, Emily and Alexis. You will all be greatly missed next year.

• Valentine Candy Grams –Sales will be at lunch time only in the main lobby every day till next Monday. Cash only! Candy grams will be delivered to the classes on February 14th.

• Peer Tutoring – Is today during lunch time in the Library.

• String Students - orchestra and violin tech are cancelled today.

• Boys Basketball - Game today at 4pm At Oxford, no student spectators are allowed.  Practice after school on Thursday.

• Chess Club –Arena tournaments will now run be every Tuesday at 7:00 pm. See Mr. Drake in # 107 if you want to join.

• Daily Announcements - Anyone interested in reading announcements for the school, please come tomorrow at 11:40 for a meeting in Ms. Chisholm’s room # 110.

• School Dance – Tickets will be on sale for the school dance. Come to the front lobby tomorrow, Thursday or Friday during lunch time. The cost if the ticket is $ 5.00.

• Badminton - The junior badminton practice will be tomorrow at lunch. The next practice for the intermediate badminton team will be Thursday, February 9 at lunch.

• Grade 9s Registration  – If you’re interested in pre-IB and O2 programs, please come to see Ms. Reid to get the forms. Power School – If you don’t remember your Power School password, come to the office to reset it. You will need your Power School to register for grade 10. Deadline – tomorrow. 

• Yearbook - Attention Grade 9 students - if you want your baby picture or a quote in the yearbook this year, the deadline to submit both is Thursday Feb 16. see Mme Yon if you need assistance or more information.
