Battle of the Books – There will be the meeting today at lunch in Ms. Walker’s room (# 106).

Ultimate Frisbee - If you are interested in learning to play ultimate, but you're not sure what it is, come to Mr. Noble's classroom today for a quick chat at lunch. If enough people are interested, we will play ultimate in the gym after school today. Throw a frisbee, catch a frisbee. Have fun!

Student Council Bake Sale – Is today during the lunch time. All money we raise will go to Adsum House - a safe place for women and children to go who are trying to leave an abusive situation. It’s a good time of year to do good deeds and think of others less fortunate. Everything will be 2$ and under.

Girls Basketball – The practice will be on Monday, December 2, after school, from 3:15 pm to - 5:15 pm.

Boys Basketball Tryout – Last tryout will be on Tuesday, December 3, from 3:15 pm to 5:00 pm.

Stuff-A-Bus – WE Group is challenging the students to help us stuff a bus on December 6. Stuff-A-Bus is a Halifax wide food drive for Feed NS, a major food bank supplier here, in Halifax. A new national report, called Hunger Count 2016, puts Nova Scotia’s food bank use ahead of any other province. There has been a box placed in each homeroom to collect donations between now and December 5. Items must be non-perishable and not expired. Examples are cans of soup or vegetables, snack items like popcorn or cereal, etc. Each item will be counted (not individual packages like a box of popcorn opened to 6 packages) toward a class total for a winning and announced on December 6 after the bus get stuffed. Please help us support our community by bringing in as much as you can.

Holiday Ornaments - Student council will be collecting holiday ornaments - We like to decorate our Christmas tree with student made ornaments - There will be prizes for the best homemade ornament per grade level.  Please make sure your name is on your ornament. Student council will collect ornaments from homerooms on the morning of December 4th.
