• Diwali – Is celebrating today. It is one of the largest festivals celebrated in India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Malaysia and Singapore. Also referred to as “Divali”, “Deepavali”, or “Deepawali” meaning “a continuous line of lamps”. This is why Diwali is a festival celebrated with lots of lights. It is considered a time to celebrate life and a time to strengthen family and social relationships. Known as the “Festival of Lights”. The light signifies the victory of good over evil within every human being. People celebrate with family gatherings, fireworks, sharing sweets and candy, lighting candles, lamps and lights of all colors. For many countries on the Indian sub-continent, Diwali marks the celebration of the new year. Wishing the happiest and the most energetic Diwali to everyone who celebrates.
