• Headstrong Club – There will be a meeting today during the lunch time in room # 104.

• Girls Basketball - Your practice is today after school, from 2:30 till 4:00 pm. Game is on Wednesday at 4:00 pm at our school.

• Badminton Tryouts - Reminder there is the final tryout for Gr 7 & 8 boys is today at lunch. Please check the badminton list on the PE bulletin board for the list of boys coming back.
- Gr 9’s final badminton tryout has been moved to tomorrow (Tuesday)at lunch.
- Gr 7s and 8s Girls final badminton  tryout is on Wednesday at lunch. Please check the bulletin board outside the gym to see if you are invited back to the final tryout.

• Boys Basketball - Congratulations to our team who moved to 9-0 this year taking down the big bad bears from Gorsebrook 89-83. Olly led the team with 30 points, Cam with 23 and Hamza with 14. Boys, your practice is tomorrow after school.

• Chess Tournament - There will be no chess today but there will be an online Arena Tournament tonight at 7pm on Li-Chess.  See Mr. Drake if you want to join the online version of our school club. Teachers are welcome. Also, check on Mr. Drake's door (room # 107) for information about the recently created Halifax Chess Club. Casual over-the-board play on Sundays from 1-4 at the Halifax Central Library on Spring Garden Road - all are welcome including beginners.

• Lunar New Year - Chinese New Year 2023 is a Year of White Rabbit started yesterday. Happy New Year for all who celebrates and please come to see Ms. Nadia in her room
# 118 during the lunch time.

• HeART Art Program - Is starting up again on Tuesdays, starting tomorrow. Anyone interested in continuing or joining the program, please see Ms. Caines or the office for sign up.
