Black History Month – Our winner from last week’s trivia question will be announced tomorrow.
Fact of the day: Africa is also known as the Cradle of Mankind as humans and their ancestors have been in this area for five million years! Human can trace their lineage back to this continent.

School Dance – There will be Valentine Dance for Grades 7-9 on Thursday, February 15th. Tickets for the dance will be sold at lunch in the lobby today for $5. Tickets will also be sold at the door night of the dance for $8. There will be a live DJ, canteen and photobooth. You must be in good standing with the school to attend.

Badminton Practices – Intermediate team, your practice will be on Thursday. Junior Team – there will be a practice on Wednesday. All practices are during lunch time.

Yearbook Cover Contest – Do you want to see your original design on the cover of our yearbook? This week is the last chance to submit it. Details on the posters. Bring your work to Ms. Slauenwhite in room # 105 or to the office. Deadline is Friday.
