Black History Month – Final Trivia question: How many islands does Seychelles, the smallest country in Africa, have?

Caribbean Lunch - Will be handed out today in the library at lunch. Students who ordered their lunches, come to the library: Grade 8s and 9s - at 11:15 and grade 6s and 7 - at 11:45.

Badminton Practices - Junior team, practice is today at lunch.

Math Problem of the Week - Any students who have completed this week's math problem of the week can hand it in to Mr. Drake in room # 107 or Ms. Arbique in room # 106 by the end of the day today. Winners will be announced tomorrow!

Culture Club – We will be staying after school on Monday, March 4th,  to cook a special meal in advance of Ramadan. Any students who would like to join can sign up by speaking with Ms. Nisrine or Ms. Arbique today.

Snack Sale - Come to the learning center tomorrow at the beginning lunch to buy chips, chocolate bars or pop. All items will be between $1 - $2!

Grad Dresses – Grade 9s students, if you’re looking for grad dresses, MicMac Mall is orginizing Dress Drive. It will happen this Saturday and Sunday, March 2nd and 3rd, in the mall. All dresses are $ 30.00.

Spirit Week - Student council has organized a spirit week. Starting next Monday, March 4th, there will be a theme for each day.
Monday: Fairview Junior High Spirit Day - wear your Fairview clothes or colors.
Tuesday: Anything but a backpack Day - get creative and bring your books in something original like a suitcase.
Wednesday: Twin Day - come to school matching with a friend.
Thursday: Decade day - come to school dressed in the 60s, 80s 90s or any other decade.
Friday: Everyone's favorite - PJ Day.
