Girls’ Soccer - Our girls will play for the League title TODAY at 5:15 pm at the Mainland Commons All Weather Field Near the BMO Soccer Center by Halifax West High School. Players are asked to be at the field no later than 4:45 pm for team photo and warm up. All staff and students are welcome to come cheer on our Lions! Also, could ALL players please meet in the gym at lunch for a very brief meeting.
Boys’ Soccer - Congratulations to the team who won yesterday and are moving on to the championship match today at the BMO Mainland common Field. Awab Al Arabi scored on a perfectly placed corner kick in the final minute to tie the game. Wesley Munroe made some amazing saves in penalty kicks to win us the game. Great job guys! There will be a game today at 4:00 pm at Mainland common.
Student Council – There will be a meeting today in Ms. Parson’s room # 203 during lunch.
Dance Club – Meeting is today during lunch time in EAL room # 202. No experience needed. All grades and staff members are welcome!
School Dance - Dance tickets will be sold in the lobby of the main building today for $ 5.00. Limited amount will be also sold at the door before the dance for $7. Dance is tonight, from 6 pm till 8 pm.
Boys’ “A” Volleyball – There will be a game today at Park West starting at 3 PM. You are responsible for your drives to and from Park West.
Girls’ “B” Volleyball – There will be a practice tomorrow at lunch. Bring your lunch to the gym. No practice on Friday!
Remembrance Day Ceremony – Students who are interested in participating in Remembrance Day Ceremony (cadets included), there will be a meeting tomorrow during lunch time in Ms. Walker’s room # 105.
Spirit Week -Tomorrow is Anything But Backpack. Friday is the Costume Day.
Halloween Costume Contest – Will be held on Friday during lunch in the gym. Prizes are given for selected themes, such as most creative, silliest, best overall, etc...NO WEAPONS OR MASKS!
