Asian Heritage Month - In the 2021 Census, around 7 million people in Canada were identified as full or partial Asian ethnicity, which represents around 19 to 20% of the population of Canada!

Asian Heritage Month - Between 1880 and 1885, the Canadian Pacific Railway was completed using the labour of around 15,000 Chinese workers. They faced discrimination by being underpaid and facing the most dangerous tasks, which resulted in around 2,200 deaths.
