Girls’ “A” Volleyball - Congratulations to our team as they played their first regular season game yesterday and defeated Goresbrook JH 3 games to 0! The girls will play again today their first game of their tournament this weekend at Ecole du Sommet at 4:15 pm. Good luck girls!

 

Boys’ Soccer - Congratulations to the team for an amazing season!  

 

Girls Soccer - Congratulations to the team on a second-place finish after a heartbreaking loss to Gorsebrook in penalty kicks last evening. Rookie Goalie Ruby Burgess was outstanding in goal, stopping several penalty kicks and kept us in the game. Mr. Burke and Mr. MacDonald would like to thank all players for an incredible season and would especially like to thank our grade 9s: Lauren Peddle, Carmen Savary, Myra McDonald and Claire Wilkie for their mentoring and leadership. Go Lions!

 

Girls’ “B” Volleyball – There will be a practice today at lunch. Bring your lunch to the gym. No practice tomorrow!

 

Remembrance Day Ceremony – Students who are interested in participating in Remembrance Day Ceremony (cadets included), there will be a meeting today during lunch time in Ms. Walker’s room # 105. 

 

Cultural Club – Join us today during lunch time in room # 102 to celebrate The Islamic Heritage Month and to learn more about Islamic culture. Everyone is welcome.

Halloween Costume Contest – Will be held tomorrow during lunch in the gym.  Prizes are given for selected themes, such as most creative, silliest, best overall, etc...NO WEAPONS OR MASKS!
