Treaty Day - in Nova Scotia seeks to recognize the treaties between the Nova Scotia Mi’kmaq nation and the British Crown in 1752. This day reaffirms the historic presence of the Mi’kmaq people and their nation. It encourages learning more about Nova Scotia’s history and the Mi'kmaq people who lived there for millennia.


October 1 also marks the beginning of Mi’kmaq History Month in Nova Scotia.


Yearbook - Reminder that there will be a mandatory yearbook meeting in Mme Caracristi's room (# 205), today at lunch for the whole hour.  If for some reason you cannot attend, due to a prior commitment you must communicate that with Mme Caracristi or Mme Yon.


Girls B Volleyball - There will be a practice today at lunch in the gym. Please, do not worry if you do not have gym clothes for today.


Junior Boys soccer – Meeting today at the beginning of lunch at 11:15  at Mr. Day’s room (# 105)


Cross Country – For everyone interested in competing this year in cross country, there is an important meeting today in the gym at 11:45.


Girls A Volleyball - Players are asked to come to the gym today immediately following the lunch bell to get a form.


Boys A Volleyball Team - Attention all boys wanting to tryout for the team. Tryouts will take place on Monday, October 4, from 2:30-4:30pm in the gym. Boys are also asked to come to the gym today immediately following the lunch bell to pick up a form.


Grade 7 Immunization Forms – Reminder students, bring forms signed by your parents to your home room teachers on Monday.
