Treaty Day - in Nova Scotia seeks to recognize the treaties between the Nova Scotia Mi’kmaq nation and the British Crown in 1752. This day reaffirms the historic presence of the Mi’kmaq people and their nation. It encourages learning more about Nova Scotia’s history and the Mi'kmaq people who lived there for millennia.

October 1 also marks the beginning of Mi’kmaq History Month in Nova Scotia.

Girls A Volleyball- There will be a practice today and Thursday after school from 2:30pm-4:30pm.

Cross Country Runners - Practice today and Thursday at lunch. All runners must attend as we have to register you for the Regional Championship. Also, you will need your permission forms.

Boys Soccer - A reminder you have your next game today at 4PM, here at our Fairview Field. Please arrive early.

B Volleyball - Team will practice tomorrow at lunch. Bring your lunch to the gym.

Phys Ed Classes - Mr. Gallagher‘s class will be going outside this week. Bring your jacket to Physical Education class.

Dungeons and Dragons Club - All students interested in joining the D & D Club should come to a brief information session tomorrow at the beginning of lunch in room 208. All are welcome, and no materials are needed for this meeting.

Chess Club – Anyone who is new to the Chess club, come to see Mr. Drake after school for a registration form. Over the board play will start next week.
