Black History Trivia – Did you know that the award-winning film “Hidden Figures” is based on true events. Without the three notable black women in NASA, Dorothy Vaughn, Mary Jackson, and Katherine Goble-Johnston, the United States might never make it into space or to the moon. Katherine Goble-Johnston is credited with calculating the trajectory needed to safely land one of the first American astronauts in space back on earth unharmed. What an achievement for mankind!
Student Council – There will be a meeting today during lunch in Ms. Beaton's room #222. All members please attend.
Badminton Tournament – If you signed-up for the tournament, come to the gym during lunch time. It will be held is being held today, tomorrow, and Friday.
Film Club – There will be a meeting tomorrow in room 246 at lunch.
Bake Sale – There will be a bake sale on Friday, February 28th, during lunch time in the lobby.
Girls and Boys Basketball - We will play a mixed game after school next Thursday, March 6th. Also, bring your uniforms for return.
