Martin Luther King Day – Today we’re celebrating Martin Luther King Day. It is seen as a day to promote equal rights for people, regardless of their background. Martin Luther King was an important civil rights activist. He was a leader in the movement to end racial segregation in the United States. His most famous address was the "I Have A Dream" speech. He was an advocate of non-violent protest and became the youngest man to be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.
Badminton Tryouts Schedule:
– Grade 8s Boys – second tryouts tomorrow and Wednesday during lunch time.
- Grade 6 and 7s Girls – second tryouts Thursday and Friday during lunch.
Assembly Team Meetings - Grade 6 & 7 assembly team meets today at lunch in room # 205. See you there. Grade 8 & 9 assembly team meets on Wednesday in room # 205.

Girls Basketball - Last Wednesday the girls went to Gorsebrook and suffered their first loss of the season. The Lions regroup and play today at Fairview at 4 pm, Go Lions go!
Boys Basketball - Last Thursday the boys lost a tough game to Armbrae academy on the road. The boys play at home tomorrow at 4 pm.
