National Indigenous Peoples Day – Tomorrow we’re celebrating National Indigenous Peoples Day - a day recognizing and celebrating the cultures and contributions of the First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Indigenous peoples of Canada. The theme for this year is “Keeping the Circle Strong through the Sacred Relationship with Mother Earth” reflects the pride that our First Nations, Métis and Inuit communities take in their rich heritage, traditions and cultures through being the caretakers of Mother Earth and water the giver of life.
Talent Show - Rehearsal will be held today in the gym today at lunch.
Yearbook Sale – We have only few yearbooks left. The sale will be today at lunch in the lobby.
Freezie Sale – Will be today during lunch time. The cost is $ 2.00.
Chips Sale – We will be selling chips on Monday during lunch time in the lobby. Bring your loonies!
Girls Volleyball - Attention any players in grade 7 and 8, as well as any girls in grade 6, that played club volleyball, there will be a practice on Monday and Thursday at lunch for those interested in being on the Girls “A” Volleyball team next year. Bring your lunch to the gym.
Library Books - A reminder that all books are due back to the library by no later than next Thursday, June 26th. Don't know if you still have books to return? Check with your English or French Language Arts Teacher and be sure to check in your locker, classrooms, and even under your bed for books. Mr. E will be posting the total number of books to be returned on the Library windows and will update it as more are returned.
