Education Week – This week we’re celebrating the Education Week, theme is “Empowering Futures: Innovation in Education”. This is the opportunity to recognize teachers, support staff and administrators for their dedication to their work. Thank you for your hard work, we appreciate it! 

 

Book Spine Poetry Contest - Thank you to everyone who participated in our 2nd Annual Book Spine Poetry Contest, we hope you enjoyed it! All poems will be displayed in the library windows for the next few weeks, and we are excited to announce this year's student winners! Our Top 3 poems were made by: Damore in 9-1, Nyla in 9-1 and Kingston in 8-4! With your teacher's permission, please come down to the library to collect your prize. For our staff poem, there was a tie with both Ms. Marchand and Madame Hanley claiming the crown. Congratulations to our winners and happy reading.

 

Girls Soccer Team – There will be a meeting today at lunch in the Library. All the girls must attend. 

 

 

Track-and-Field Practices - Today is last practice before Capital District Meet:

Lunch Time - long jump, and triple jump 

After school (from 2:20 till 3:30 pm) – all runners.

All the athletes must attend, if you cannot see Mr. Gallagher.

 

Student Council – There will be a quick meeting today at the beginning of lunch in Ms. Beaton’s room # 222. 

 

Boys Softball Tryout – There will be tryout tomorrow after school. Please meet in the gym, bring your own glove.

 

Black excellence Day - Students who wish to celebrate black excellence are invited to a special lunch time craft. We will be making black pride and power buttons to wear on our clothing and backpacks as well as to decorate a variety of buttons for our teachers and others in our community to wear too! Please meet in Ms. Melanson's room 112 on Thursday, May 15th at the start of lunch to join in - bring your food and we will have some music and other fun items too! See you there!
