Trivia questions –This is our last week for trivia. Today’s question: The Trelawney Maroons from Jamaica came to Nova Scotia in 1796. Name the historical site in Halifax that the Maroons help construct.

Boys Basketball – Congratulations our team who yesterday defeated Central Junior High 60-46. It was a complete team effort with 4 players scoring in double digits. 

Drama Club – There will be a drama club, but Miss Caracristi has to cancel social studies extra help.

Ultimate Frisbee Intramurals – Will be running every Wednesday during lunch time from 12:25 pm to 1:00 pm starting today. There will be an opportunity for 18 students to sign up to play every week. See Mr. Troy in guidance area to sign up.

Yearbook Committee – There will be a brief meeting tomorrow at lunch. Members who wish to participate in the Halifax West High School yearbook workshop must attend the meeting tomorrow to get their permission slips. 

Yearbook - A reminder to grade nine students to complete their yearbook quotes and surveys before March break.  

Badminton – There will be a practice for an Intermediate badminton team tomorrow at lunch.

Frost Fest – It’s day 4 tomorrow and it’s Decade Day. Pick your favorite decade and dress-up. 

Girls Basketball – Please return your uniforms to Ms. K-V by the end of the week.
