October is Mi'kmaq History Month - The Canadian government operated Indian residential schools in partnership with the Anglican, Catholic, Methodist, and Presbyterian churches, among others.

Teachers’ Day - Today is World Teachers’ Day – a global day of recognition that celebrates the extraordinary educators in our lives. Thank you for all you do to support students and families.

Girls” B” Volleyball – There will be a practice today at lunch. Girls please bring your lunch to the gym so we can start right away.

Dance Club – There will be the first meeting today at lunch in room 202. If you’re interested, come to join us. 

Girls Flag Football – Tryouts is today after school at 2:30. Any questions please see Mr. A in room 222.

Girls “A” Volleyball - There will be a practice tomorrow at lunch and after school, from 2:30 to 4:30 PM.

GSA - Fairview GSA is starting back up! GSA is a student-led club that stands for gender sexuality alliance. It is a safe space for 2SLGBTQIA+ students here at Fairview as well as their allies. Our first meeting will be next Wednesday, October 12 in room 104. See you there!

Picture Day – Our Picture day was rescheduled due to the hurricane. The new date is next Friday, October 14.
