October is Mi'kmaq History Month - In 1933, legal guardianship of the Indian children attending Indian residential school was assumed by the principals of those Indian residential schools, upon the forcible surrender of legal custody by parents

Girls Flag Football - Anyone who was at the Girls flag football tryouts, please come today to room 222 at 11:15 for a quick meeting

Cross Country - There will be a practice today at the start of lunch. Meet at the Library

D & D Club – The first meeting is today at lunchtime in room 104 to help determine interest and create player groups. No prior experience is needed!!

Girls A Volleyball – There will be a practice today after school from 2:30 to 4:30. Please let Mr. Gallagher or Ms.  Fitzpatrick know if you cannot attend.

Boys Soccer – There is a game today against Halifax Grammar School. We’re playing at Tremont field at 5:15.

GSA - First meeting will be tomorrow in room 104. See you there!

Yearbook Club – There will be the first sign up meeting on Thursday, October 13 at lunch in the library.

Girls B Volleyball - Practices will be every Tuesday and Thursday at lunchtime in the gym starting this Thursday, October 13. Bring your lunch to the gym on these days.

Magic Game - Like card games and strategies? Week 1 Mondays at lunch, learn how to play Magic with Mr. Hallett, room to be announced. Old and new players welcome. Players welcome to bring their own cards. 

Picture Day – Will be on Friday, October 14. Classes will be called sown.
